FACTS ABOUT CHICHICASTENANGO
Approximately 3 hours north of Guatemala City
Alititude: 6447 ft or 1965 meters
Population: 9000 people
Language: Quiche (Mayan dialect) and some Spanish
Attractions: The Market! (you'll hear more about this, I'm sure!); Church of Santo Tomas; Lake Atitlan (a volcanic lake surrounded by 3 active volcanoes!)
