a "God story"

At each of our meetings we take time to share "God stories" - ways that we see God's presence in our lives, particularly related to our trip. Cheri Ray emailed us this story last night and I thought you might find it as encouraging and as exciting as all of us do. Cheri wrote...

I wanted to share something cool with you all.

So, Diane went through all the items to go in the hygiene packs she noticed what we were short quite a few toothbrushes. I told her that I would check with Angie, my dental hygienist friend that works with a couple different dentists to see if they might have some dental reps that would be willing to donate some toothbrushes. Angie called back yesterday and left me a message that her dentist wanted to donate some for us.

I didn't want to tell her how many we needed because it felt like it was too much to ask for. I thought to myself that if she asked how many we needed I would just tell her however many the dentist was comfortable with and if we ended up short then at least it was better than nothing, right?

She called back today to tell me that Dr. Bozic wanted to donate 400 toothbrushes for the hygiene packs.

Guess how many toothbrushes we needed...........
400!!!

How stinkin' cool is that? God is just so faithful isn't he? I still have goosebumps.
Anyway, just wanted to share with you all....It became so evident to me tonight that God SO has His hand in this trip even down to the smallest detail of the toothbrushes.
